Player X becomes O2 UK's 'official' games aggregator powered by Metaflow

The move formalises a long-standing arrangement between the two companies, whereby Player X handles all QA and deployment using Metaflow for more than 20 publishers outside the eight with which O2 maintains direct relationships, a number of which have already licenced Metaflow for content submissions in their own right.

O2 itself has recently completed a long-awaited revamp of its mobile games portal using a managed service platform from Materna that enables more sophistication retail techniques and merchandising.

Metaflow has been working extensively with O2, Materna and games publishers for some time before the new platform went live to ensure that both new and existing games titles could be migrated quickly and efficiently onto the new platform.
