Metaflow gets connected with Acme Mobile

Content submissions and content ingestion specialist Metaflow has integrated its industry standard bulk content ingestion solution with Acme Mobile, Southeast Asia's leading distributor of mobile entertainment content, allowing Acme Mobile's publishing partners to get their games live and selling in the fastest time possible.

Content Publishers have largely operated with a 'fire and forget' mechanism when submitting their gaming assets to operators and platform providers. The partnership between Metaflow and Acme Mobile pushes publisher's games directly into Acme Mobile's 'Ace' provisioning platform. This helps speed deployment across Acme Mobile's Amob.com family of web and WAP sites, (www.amob.com and wap.amob.com), which touch over 250 million mobile subscribers across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

The next stage of the partnership provides submission status feeds back into a Publisher's Metaflow reporting system. The new system tracks multiple sales channel's workflow processes from the receipt of game builds up to and including real time download figures via machine to machine interaction.

'Metaflow is driving the standard for content submissions and content ingestion and the next natural step is near real time reporting flows back to Publishers about what is happening with their games so that they can make better business decisions and ultimately more money,' said Charles McLeod, CEO of Metaflow.

Acme Mobile CEO Paul Meyers said: 'We've spent the last five years building our reputation as a leading distribution company in Asia and partnering with many of the world's leading games publishers and regional distribution channels. Our partnership with Metaflow underlines our commitment to becoming the Number One Mobile Distribution Partner in Southeast Asia by integrating Metaflow's seamless content ingestion and reporting processes into our 'Ace' platform for each and every one of our partners.

Metaflow has an impressive list of major publishers such as EA Mobile, Hands-On Mobile, THQ Wireless, Namco Bandai, India Games, Player X as well as smaller Developer / Publishers such as PopCap Games and Fishlabs, with more to be announced shortly.
